Just had the most romantic dinner at Southern Grocery. The server is who made it romantic, he is beautiful. The service was unbeatable. Please request Chase when you dine here, he is great!
Beautiful restaurant! Love the vibe! Drinks are great! My only complaint is there's too much "creole" & "crawfish" on menu , maybe change the menu every season like Odette. Otherwise, there's only a few things I'll eat. This isn't Louisiana:)
Food is fabulous and innovative. Love the live music! Even thought the restaurant was crowded, the service was attentive and gracious. We loved the decor, which was very elegant and polished.
First, Yelp needs to update the operating hours for this restaurant. They are open for lunch, and the get a huge lunch crowd. We went there for lunch while in the quad-cities area. It is a very nice restaurant, and big inside. The waitstaff are kind and very helpful. I had the house salad with salmon. It was a big piece of salmon and looked great...and it was great. My husband had the lunch special...jambalaya...and said it was great. Their bar is huge, and that same evening we stopped in for a beer. Eclectic scene, and good beer choices an great mixed drinks along with a good wine selection.
I want to start by saying the staff here is outstanding. They make sure you are happy with your food and if not they will fix the problem. I had fried shrimp And they were huge plus tasted great. I will definitely come back.
